Frontend Developer (Maintenance) (April 2021 - September 2021)
As a junior developer at a busy agency, I delved into diverse web development aspects. My responsibilities included troubleshooting and fixing bugs to improve user experience, updating car pages, and refining existing content for relevancy. I also managed essential maintenance across various websites. This immersive experience honed my technical skills and provided a deep insight into the industry.
Frontend Developer (Bespoke) (October 2021 - July 2022)
In October 2021, I was promoted to a bespoke developer role, allowing me to undertake more advanced and client-focused projects. I took on responsibilities like integrating franchises, altering financial data, updating locations, and creating custom pages for specific client needs. Additionally, I worked with third-party scripts to enhance website interactivity and functionality. I also ventured into SEO, emphasizing website page speed optimization to elevate user experience and search engine positioning. This new role not only demanded top-tier, tailored solutions but also bolstered my development proficiency.
In August 2022, I was promoted to a build developer role, focusing on creating websites for car dealerships. I improved the boilerplate code, ensuring faster development, enhanced visuals, and reduced bugs. Additionally, I developed a custom Chrome extension tailored for our CMS. I also introduced devtools to facilitate bug tracking and address SEO issues, ensuring our websites consistently delivered top-notch quality and performance.
